3. IVT Vacuum Tube Solar collectors

Operation
The inside of the glass vacuum tubes is coated with a stable layer of aluminium nitride, which act as the absorber surface of the system that converts sunlight into heat. The aluminium nitride ensures high sunlight absorbance (>92% of incoming radiation) and very low heat emission level (<6%). Heat loses are prevented, even at low ambient temperature, since the absorber layer is located on the inside of the evacuated glass tube. For the same reason, the aluminium nitrite coating cannot be damaged. Behind the tubes, a highly reflective CPC mirror is located that increases the performance of the system by guiding the Sun's radiation, from all directions, onto the absorber. This achieves optimum radiation collection even when sunlight emission angles are not favourable.

F. Digital thermostat
A compact, digital (- 3-digit) electronic thermostat for heating or cooling regulation, to be used on the solar stratified storage tank LATENTO XXL.

H. Servo motor
The servo motor is used as an electromotive drive for the pump heating circuit by fitting on the 3-way mixing valve. The voltage supply is interrupted when the servo motor reaches either of the limit switches. It can also be put into manual operation
I. 3-way valve
The pressure-relieved Honeywell valves with open/shut function are installed in both residential buildings and heating/cooling applications in small single-purpose buildings. They work very silently and dampen water shocks due to their design for spindle-shaped adjustment travel. The drive only consumes current when it travels to a preset position. The driving head can be removed without interrupting the water circulation. The design of the valve cone allows sealing the water passages via the valve independently from the differential injection pressure. The valves are suitable for water distribution from AB to A or B. Control via on/off thermostat or via all-inclusive regulation.
J. Solenoid valve (closed when de-energised), Solenoid valve (-open when de-energised)
For automatic switch off of individual system circuits (prevents e.g. circulation via the heater at backup heating).
Type 1: The solenoid valve is closed in rest position
Type 2: The solenoid valve is open in rest position
The valve operates from 0 bar and higher, it does not require a minimum differential pressure. It is suitable for systems with low or fluctuating pressure conditions.

Heater installation system
The PRINETO Heater installation system is an enhancement of the drinking water pipe system, based on the same fitting system. It consists of special MS 60 (brass) fittings for the heater connection. For the installation, flexible EVOH-coated PE-X heating pipes (red), flexible Nanoflex universal pipes (stainless steel coloured) and Stabil pipes (white multilayer-pipe) are used.
